RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. FESTIVAL ORGANIZERS

The NET FILM FESTIVAL is organized by the Association D.C.C. (italian identifacion in Cod. Fisc. 92042120631) with registered office in Via Armando Diaz n. 140, 80047 San Giuseppe Vesuviano (NA). In this in case, we reserve the right to add other organizations, institutions and private sponsors until the end of the selections.

2. OBJECTIVES

The NET FILM FESTIVAL is a place of meeting and discussion that aims to give visibility and to promote audiovisual products through the Internet platform of the festival and thereafter for the works that they will accept, through the distribution by means of the insertion of titles in a distribution list for Italy and abroad.

3. DATE OF THE FESTIVAL

The NET FILM FESTIVAL is articulated through its Internet platform, in two stages:

1. SELECTION: On or before 20th July 2014 will select the works that will be offered for all categories, at the sole discretion of the Artistic Director of the Festival.

2. FESTIVAL: From 15th September 2014, the Festival will start on-line with the vision of the works selected in competition for all sections. The final decision will be taken by the Jury of the Festival. The decision of the Jury will also add the popular vote through the web that will arrive through the Internet platform and that will be the subject of a prize at the Festival, in fact referred to as "Audience Award".

3. FINAL EVENING: The Award Ceremony and final round will take place by the winter of 2014 in a prestigious palace place and time that will be announced on or before 15.09.2014, also strictly streamed on the site and through traditional media. In the evening the winners will be announced and the winners of the Festival.

4. FESTIVAL SECTIONS

The Festival is divided into several sections. Works accepted without any division into categories, of every kind and language (but oin Italian with English subtitles), provided that after the 1st of January 2011. The Festival is open to the participation of: - Feature Films, Documentaries, Short Films, Web Series, Experimental Film and Retrospectives.

 THE FESTIVAL SECTIONS ARE:

 - FEATURE FILMS. Films are considered works more than 45 minutes duration.

- SHORT FILMS. The works are considered short films under 30 minutes in length, including the opening credits and closing credits.

- DOCUMENTARY. Are considered documentaries works over 40 minutes duration.

- SHORT FILMS - DOCUMENTARIES. The works are considered short films under 40 minutes in length, including the opening credits and closing credits.

- WEB SERIES. The section web series is open to all products of fiction platform, created for the 'entertainment via the Internet, mobile devices, and / or for other non-television digital platforms.

- RETROSPECTIVE. The Retrospectives section includes works belonging to a genre or an author that are representative of Italian cinema. The organization in accordance with the production / author can assess any exemptions. The selection of films is edited by the discretion of the Organizing Committee.

The Festival will communicate the outcome of the selection by sending an e-mail to the proponent: by 15th September 2014. The programming of the selected films will be published on the site www.netfilmfestival.it. The DVD copies of the film allowed and not allowed in the Competition (sent by post) will not be returned to the proponents and will become part of the Festival.

5. PRIZES

The Festival Management will appoint a panel of experts and artists in charge of the award the following prizes, with no possibility of a tie:

- WINNER OF THE FESTIVAL;

- SPECIAL JURY PRIZE;

- CATEGORY WINNER;

 - SPECIAL MENTIONS FOR EACH CATEGORY.

During the course of the Festival online since the Autumn of the 2014, the public will have a chance to vote for each category a preference, in ways that will be indicated by 15th September 2014. As a result, it will be allocated for each category a AUDIENCE AWARD.

6. FILM REGISTRATION

The registration of the films in the competition is free of charge.

Will be admitted to the selection of the proponents film that will send the official entry form, completed in full and signed, a copy of the DVD movies and all required materials by post to the following address:

 Alternatively you can send by mail in MPEG4 format the work and the material required, the latter for photos in jpg format and in PDF format for the required documentation. The works must be delivered by post, or sent by mail, no later than July 20th, 2014.

To register for the Contest and for shipments made by mail, please send the following materials in order to provide a detailed dossier to the Festival of presentation: - A CD-ROM containing 4 pictures in JPEG format at 300 dpi, which is authorized and free publication and copies of the movie to MPEG4 format and any other documentation that may be useful for the selection.

For registration by mail, such material can be attached to the sending of films and application form duly completed and signed The transport costs of all the materials for selection are borne by the proponents.

7. FILM SCREENINGS

From Autumn 2014, on the portal www.netfilmfestival.it, will begin screenings for the films selected for competition in each of the categories of the Festival.

8. RIGHTS AND GUARANTEES

The audio-visual products will not be returned to the proposer and will become part of the Festival.

The Net Film Festival reserves the right to use the film, non-profit, by any means of communication, in Italy and abroad, without time limits and without incurring any rights.

It is the responsibility of those who enrolled in the films in competition being lawfully authorized. All rights to the work are owned by the poster.

The application for admission to the competition implies acceptance of the present Regulation. The Festival can make decisions on matters not provided for in this Regulation.

For any dispute, the competence is of the Italian Court of Nola.
